(Normally, I only use this mailing list for my blog posts but I'm making an exception today because I've gotten so many questions about the message I'm sharing here today.)

I want to warn you of a Facebook related scam.  Wait!  You don't have Facebook?  It doesn't really matter.  Even people who don't have Facebook are sometimes receiving this scam message. Here's what it often looks like (notice my added notes in red):

Basically, the message tells you that you've violated the person's or company's copywrite and your Facebook account is going to be deleted.  Then, they tell you that if you think this is happening in error, click on the link provided and protest the procedure.

We have gotten tons of calls, emails and messages with Facebook users in a panic that their account is going to be removed.  This is a total fake!  It's a scam.  If you receive this message on your phone, tablet or computer, delete it.  If you have the option, you should also block the person sending.

Again, this is a scam.  Do not panic and whatever you do, don't click or tap the link!   

On another note, I'm under the gun to purchase the remaining equipment I need for my YouTube studio upgrade.  I was able to get my vendor to extend the discount period until Saturday, January 27^th.  Beyond that, I'll lose the generous discount the vendor is giving me.  I've received $5,000 since my last request so I’m now at $10,000 remaining.  As I’ mentioned before, I'm modifying my original proposal.  Whomever can invest either $10,000 or $5,000 with me will get 15% interest instead of 10%.  Just to reiterate, the deal was invest for 6 months and get the principal and interest back at that time.  (Promissory note will be sent.)
