Dear ,
Happy Camel Day! (The ungulate mammal, not the cigarette.) I hope you had a nice Easter and/or Passover.
I'm making a change starting today based on some feedback I've had through email and online. Some have told me that, despite me trying to write posts that can be read in 3-4 minutes, having three posts at a time and even six posts in a week is too time consuming. Also, it seems that three posts at a time is sometimes a lot to absorb at one sitting. Therefore, beginning today, I'm reducing my weekly posts to four. There will be two emails a week, normally, and each will contain two posts. Of course, there might be exceptions to this rule from time to time but I'll try to stick with this schedule as much as possible. Thanks to everyone who gave me their opinion on this!
I hope you'll take the time to read today's missives and feel free to write in the comment area if you have any questions! As always, if you know anyone who might benefit from my posts, please forward this email to them and encourage them to sign up! Thanks in advance.
John

They Still Exist - 2021-04-07 09:05:24-04
The 1967 movie starred George C. Scott and Michael Sarrazin (may they both R.I.P.) and was about a confidence man who defrauded people in the South. Appropriately, it was titled “The Flim-Flam Man.” While we rarely hear the term in this computer day and age, flim-flam men (and women) still exist. In fact, they are alive and well. Let’s look […]
Run, Spot, Run - 2021-04-07 09:06:51-04
Okay, I admit it – the title of this post has nothing to do with the subject because my writing today isn’t about a dog or a dog book. Also, the picture above is our Cairn Terrier whose name is Augustus a.k.a. Gus, not Spot. So, why the title? The emphasis of today’s missive is about the word “Run.” For […]
